Miranda Zolot

General Counsel at Oyster

Miranda Zolot is the current General Counsel at Oyster. Miranda has also previously worked at TriNet as the Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Information and Claims. At TriNet, they were responsible for developing a holistic claims program and managing all customer facing claims. This included employment practice liability defense, unemployment claims handling, garnishments, and other legal processes. Miranda was also responsible for all corporate litigation and legal oversight of corporate insurance programs.

Zolot collaboratively established an enterprise-wide Information Risk Management program while at TriNet. This included responsibility for the development of a data and information governance function, which included defining company-wide policies and best practices, implementing programmatic requirements, as well as creating and facilitating training programs. The Information Management Team was also responsible for the transformation of the legacy Verification of Employment function into a Records Management function supportive of the evolving records and information management needs.

Miranda Zolot has a JD from Duke University School of Law and a BA in International Relations from Boston University. Miranda also has an IB Diploma from Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville, Florida. Additionally, they have a certification from Legal Creatives in International Legal Design Expert Certification.

They work with Andrea Di Natale - Head of Global Operations, Shannon Lincoln - Chief Financial Officer, and Innes Bailey - Professional Services Leader. Miranda Zolot reports to Tony Jamous, Chief Executive Officer.
