Anu Kankkunen completed their education from 1988 to 1993 at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, where they obtained an MSc (Econ) in Economics, Finance, and Mathematics. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in various areas. In March 2019, they completed the "Elements of AI" course offered by the University of Helsinki. More recently, in December 2020, they completed the \"Ownership and Board Work\" training provided by Boardman Oy.
