Juan Manuel Crespo

Juan Manuel Crespo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical consultancy and research coordination, currently serving as a technical support consultant for the 30x30 goal project at WWF-Ecuador since September 2023. With a strong background in environmental and social issues, Crespo has held various roles, including consultant for Pachamama Alliance and director member at Kara Solar. Previous experience includes leading research and learning coordination for Alianza Cuencas Sagradas and serving as a social technician at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, focusing on the protection of isolated communities. Crespo's educational qualifications include a doctoral program in development studies and a master's degree in development and globalization, both from the University of the Basque Country, along with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
