Glen Copping

Glen Copping has extensive work experience in various financial and leadership roles. Glen currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial & Investment Officer at Pacific Blue Cross, where they oversee the company's financial operations and generates annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. Prior to this, Glen held the position of Director on the Board of Directors at Transportation Investment Corporation.

Previously, Glen worked at Vancouver Coastal Health as the Chief Financial Officer and VP of Systems Development & Performance. In this role, they managed a budget of $3.9 billion and was responsible for the financial and performance management of the organization, which provides healthcare services to over one million residents in greater Vancouver and the west coast of BC.

Before joining Vancouver Coastal Health, Glen had a significant tenure at Microsoft. Glen held various senior finance roles, including Sr. Director Finance for the Manufacturing Supply Chain and Information Services divisions, Sr. Director Finance for the Windows Phone Division, and Sr. Director and Controller for the Windows & Windows Live Division. In these roles, Glen was responsible for financial planning, reporting, and revenue recognition for multi-billion-dollar products and divisions within Microsoft.

Prior to their time at Microsoft, Glen worked at Nortel Networks as a Director of Finance. Glen led various financial initiatives, such as restructuring, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and financial planning for acquired software businesses serving enterprise and telecom customers worldwide.

Glen Copping holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Glen also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Seattle University and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Marketing from Simon Fraser University. Glen is a Chartered Professional Accountant certified by the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. Glen Copping is also a Professional Engineer registered with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
