Christopher Mundy

Christopher Mundy is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in theoretical chemistry and computational materials science. Currently serving as a Laboratory Fellow and Chief Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since October 2006, Christopher also holds the position of Distinguished Faculty Fellow and Affiliate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington since 2016. Previous roles include Group Leader at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from March 2001 to September 2006, Staff Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories from September 2000 to March 2001, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Germany from August 1998 to August 2000. Christopher started a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania from July 1993 to July 1998. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman.
