Carol Wu

Carol Wu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carol began their career in 2003 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at San Diego State University. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at EHS America LLC. Carol then served as an Assessment and Evaluation Specialist at PACE Environmental Services from 2006 to 2007.

In 2007, Carol joined PACE Business Development Center as an Asset Building Coordinator and Loan Counselor, a role they held until 2013. Carol then transitioned to East West Bank, where they worked as a Credit Analyst in Commercial Real Estate Banking from 2013 to 2016, before being promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2015.

In 2016, Carol joined Cathay Bank as an AVP Credit Analysis Officer, and later became an AVP Portfolio Manager in 2017. Carol stayed with Cathay Bank until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a VP Portfolio Manager - Construction at Pacific Premier Bank.

Carol Wu received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The Ohio State University in 2002. Following this, they went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Applied Economics from San Diego State University between 2002 and 2004.
