Kathryn Benjamin is a co-founder of Sankalpa Yoga Retreats, where leading yoga therapy retreats on Big Island, Hawai'i, emphasizes yoga as a rite of passage. As the owner and principal of Katy Benjamin Yoga since May 2013, Kathryn has taught therapeutic yoga in various settings, including schools, treatment centers, and community workshops. Kathryn serves as a teacher of therapeutic yoga at Pacific Quest, focusing on trauma-sensitive practices within a residential horticultural therapy program. Previous experience includes management at Warrior Won Yoga. Kathryn's education in yoga therapy includes integrative and functional yoga therapy programs, along with a 200-hour certification from Konalani Yoga Ashram, complemented by a BA in Theatre Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University.
