Ashleigh Wells Leroy

Ashleigh Wells LeRoy, PhD, is an Applied Cognitive Scientist at Pacific Science & Engineering Group, Inc. since October 2022, with previous experience as a Graduate Student at UC Santa Barbara from September 2017 to September 2022. During this time, Ashleigh served as the Instructor of Record for Advanced Research Methods and held various teaching assistant positions across several psychology courses. Ashleigh's research includes a dissertation on using multimedia principles in educational settings and exploring the impact of video games on executive function skills. Additional professional experience includes working as a Content Writer for the American Psychological Association and as a Clinical Research Assistant at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and Educational Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, an MA in Cognitive Neuroscience from Boston University, and a BA in Psychology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
