Oliver Cowey has a diverse range of work experience. Oliver started their career in 2009 at Fletcher Building as a General Administrator and IT Department Assistant. Oliver later gained experience in market research at The ICEHOUSE and CSOFT International. Oliver also worked in marketing and client engagement at C.S. Media and as a Business Development Assistant at the Taiwan-USA Industrial Cooperation Promotion Office.

In 2016, Oliver took on the role of Centre Liaison Officer at the New Zealand Centre - Peking University, where they supported teaching, coordinated events, and hosted visiting officials. Oliver then became a Business Owner in 2017, managing a social media and e-commerce business.

Oliver joined Samsung New Zealand in 2017, starting as an IM Graduate and later becoming an Account Executive for the Pacific Island accounts. Oliver was responsible for product planning, marketing programs, and overall performance. Oliver then transitioned to a Senior Key Account Manager role, focusing on unit sales, net revenue, and portfolio management. In 2021, Oliver joined Pacificomm as a Key Account Manager.

Throughout their career, Oliver has demonstrated skills in key account management, business ownership, marketing, market research, and international liaison.

Oliver Cowey has a diverse education history that spans different countries and fields of study. Oliver began their education at Yucai International School in 2009, where they completed high school. In 2010, they attended ACG Senior College for two years to further their high school education.

After completing high school, Oliver pursued their interest in international business and marketing. From 2011 to 2014, they attended The University of Auckland, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, with a focus on International Business and Marketing.

Expanding their educational horizons, Oliver went on to study Chinese language and literature. In 2015, they enrolled at Fudan University for a brief period. In 2016, they continued their language studies at Peking University, specializing in Chinese Language and Literature.

Throughout their education, Oliver showed a commitment to exploring different academic disciplines, culminating in their varied experiences in business and cultural studies.
