Katherine Stone

Katherine Stone has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and research fields. Katherine is currently working as the Director of Strategic Materials Supply Chain at Pacira BioSciences, Inc., a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Gossamer Bio as the Associate Director of R&D Ops from September 2019 to September 2020. From 2011 to 2019, they worked at Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., starting as a Scientist I and rising to the roles of Senior Manager of Research and Development and Associate Director of R&D. Before their industry experience, Katherine worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University. Katherine also completed their graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Chemistry.

Katherine Stone attended The University of Georgia from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Pittsburgh from 2002 to 2009, where they completed a PhD in Physical Chemistry.
