Shashvat Thakor

Shashvat Thakor has a diverse work experience, starting as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Tata Consultancy Services in 2006. Shashvat then transitioned to Bloomberg LP as a Research and Software Development Intern in 2007. Shashvat continued to grow their career at the University of Maryland, College Park as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the CS Department from 2006 to 2008. Moving forward, they joined Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer in the SAVBU Switch Software Team from 2008 to 2009. Later, they worked at Juniper Networks in various roles, including Member of Technical Staff, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Leader, and Senior Technical Lead. Currently, Shashvat is at PacketFabric, where they have held roles such as Lead Technical Product Manager, Principal Technical Product Manager, Director of Product, Cloud Services, and Senior Director of Product Management, focusing on cloud and edge portfolios, product launches, and platform development.

Shashvat Thakor holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from Nirma University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Shashvat also pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. In addition, they completed a Product Management Certificate program at Stanford University. Their foundational education began at Sharda Mandir, focusing on Science from K-12. Shashvat also obtained certifications in areas such as cybersecurity, communication, OKRs, and financial management accounting from various institutions.
