Jack Holland

Jack Holland has an extensive work experience in the transport industry. Jack currently serves as a Member of the Editorial Board at Smart Transport, where they collaborate with public sector officials and private sector leaders to address challenges in the UK transport sector.

Jack is also a Member of the Board of Trustees for CoMoUK, representing the Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) sector in the UK. CoMoUK is a charity organization that promotes the benefits of shared transport.

Previously, Jack worked at Padam Mobility, where they held the position of Head of Northern Europe - Business Development. Jack was responsible for working with key market players and implementing innovative software solutions for Demand Responsive Transport, Shared Autonomous Buses/Pods, and Paratransit services. Additionally, they served as Head of UK - Business Development at Padam Mobility, leading the expansion of the company in the UK.

Prior to Padam Mobility, Jack was the Country Manager UK&I at Ride On, a mobility operator that offered various micro-mobility solutions. Jack successfully launched the two largest docked shared e-bike schemes in the UK and achieved significant growth in the team and secured sponsorship deals and grants.

Jack also worked as a Sales Development Manager at Zeelo, where they led the Sales Development Team and contributed to the company's revenue growth. Jack focused on promoting shared transport as a viable alternative to private car transportation.

In earlier roles, Jack worked at Arriva Bus (UK) in various positions, including New Business Development Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Manager. Jack successfully led the launch of new bus routes, managed operational and commercial aspects of the business, and contributed to substantial growth in the Sapphire brand.

Jack Holland attended Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School in Luton, Bedfordshire from 2003 to 2011, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Politics at Liverpool Hope University, graduating in 2014. In 2015, they obtained a PCV License from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Later in 2017, they completed the Arriva Leadership Programme from the Arriva Group.
