Chen Avnery

Chen Avnery is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large teams and driving data initiatives within various technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Pagaya since May 2020, Chen oversees the Data Ingestion and customer-facing groups, directly managing 30 engineers and two group leaders. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CTO at Grant-AI, where a SaaS platform for grant discovery and eligibility assessments was developed, and Incubation Manager at Eagle Labs, focusing on expanding business growth through technical project teams. Chen's background also includes significant contributions in machine learning, software development for financial applications, and network administration, complemented by a BSc in Computer Science from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
