Charles Abreu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Charles began their career as a co-founder of InfoInt Software, a startup focused on Linux services. Charles then worked as an administrator and programmer at the Hospital Universitário Júlio Müller, where they gained experience in infrastructure management and development. Charles later joined Ábaco Tecnologia de Informação as a software developer and project coordinator. At Telemática Sistemas Inteligentes, they held the roles of software developer and project coordinator, contributing to the creation of a new product for electronic access control and monitoring. Charles also worked as a software developer at Politec, focusing on a banking project for Caixa Econômica Federal. Charles briefly worked as a software architect at Zilics Health Information Systems, contributing to the development of a hospital management software. Currently, Charles is the Director of Engineering at PagSeguro PagBank, overseeing various programs and projects related to payment acquisition and point-of-sale solutions. Charles has led numerous successful initiatives, including the development of a pioneering payment acquisition project that had a significant financial impact on the company. Charles Abreu attended Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. In 2007, they enrolled at Faculdade de Informática e Administração Paulista - FIAP but did not complete their MBA in Information Technology Management before leaving in 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Charles became a Certified Scrum Master in 2007 through Scrum Alliance and obtained the qualification of "Líder do Futuro - Executivo" from Crescimentum in 2012.
