Role:

We are looking for a highly organized self-starter with a passion for learning, strategizing, and flexing their creative muscles to add to our in-house Content Outreach Team. Our Content Outreach Team is responsible for establishing and maintaining email communications with savvy blog owners, working toward the ultimate goal of guest post article publication. 

A persuasive creative with outstanding time management and a demonstrated ability to learn new skills/online tools would do best in this position. If you have experience in any fields similar to PR, SEO, Copywriting, Digital Marketing, or Email Outreach you might be just the person we are looking for to fill this role!

Job Description:

This position consists of four primary functions: site finding, email outreach, account management, and article strategy. Together, these functions serve to create opportunities for SEO guest posting and link building.

In this role you will be required to tie all four functions together daily, juggling changing priorities and managing your time in a flexible, team-oriented environment. You will be expected to meet weekly productivity goals and communicate proactively with your teammates and direct supervisor.  

Please note, this position does not include any article writing.

Job Expectations:

  • Send daily email outreach and follow ups

  • Navigate email negotiations with blog owners: ie requests for payment, topic pushback, representation concerns, etc.

  • Conduct and maintain an efficient publishing calendar

  • Establish and nurture digital relationships that can be leveraged for future client campaigns.

  • Work as part of a team (consisting of Strategy Specialists, Content Editors, etc.) to research and develop great content strategies.

Skills Needed:

  • Must be a highly-skilled writer with demonstrable experience self-editing your work
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Persuasive and willing to navigate challenging responses
  • Highly organized
  • Active Learner
  • Able to self-manage and perform a myriad of different tasks in a single workday without becoming overwhelmed
  • Must be inherently creative!
  • Comprehensive understanding of Gmail and Google Suite
  • Experience with Wordpress/Medium submission platforms a plus
  • Familiarity with Buzzstream and Asana a plus

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

  • An understanding of SEO content link building
  • Experience with SEO content creation
  • Fundamental understanding of SEO link building including: types of anchor text, backlinking, etc.
