Andrea Debbink

Andrea Debbink is an accomplished freelance writer and editor with a diverse background in children's literature and editorial roles. Since February 2019, Andrea has contributed as a freelance writer and editor at andreadebbink.com, while also serving as a children's book author for duopress and a proofreader for Candlewick Press. In addition, Andrea works as a copyeditor for Page Street Publishing and holds the position of managing editor, contributing writer, and podcast cohost at The Art of Simple since September 2018. Prior experience includes a decade at American Girl as an editor and children's book author, along with a role as assistant editor at Wisconsin Trails Magazine from February 2007 to October 2008. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned in 2005.
