Melissa Parkerton

Melissa Parkerton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare improvement and patient safety. Currently serving as Assistant Director at the Collaborative for Accountability and Improvement, Melissa focuses on enhancing Communication and Resolution Programs. As PACT Director at Ariadne Labs since March 2021, Melissa leads initiatives that promote reliable processes for addressing patient harm. With a background in various leadership roles, including Deputy Director positions at the Public Health Institute and the Oregon Public Health Institute, Melissa has directed teams in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and managed operational growth. Additionally, Melissa has contributed to non-profit leadership as a consultant at Page Two Partners and has a robust educational foundation, holding an MA in Applied Behavioral Science and several certifications from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
