Ralph Bird

Ralph Bird is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Data Science Manager at Reachdesk since November 2021, where Ralph is focused on building a data science team to create recommendation systems for customers. Prior to this role, Ralph was the Data Lead at Beats Medical from October 2019 to October 2021, developing digital therapeutics and managing a remote team across technical domains. Ralph's academic background includes a PhD in Astrophysics from University College Dublin, an MSc in Physics and Technology of Nuclear Reactors from the University of Birmingham, and an MSci in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, Ralph has contributed to astrophysics research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLA and worked as a Reactor Physicist/Nuclear Safety Engineer at Rolls-Royce, where Ralph authored an external hazards assessment for a major nuclear project.
