Ulas Keles is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in building scalable software solutions and leading cross-organizational projects. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at PagerDuty since June 2022, Ulas focuses on enhancing performance and reliability. Prior to this, Ulas contributed significantly to Glossier, Inc. by creating cloud-native microservices that supported the company's transition from a monolithic architecture to a more efficient e-commerce platform. Ulas also built SaaS solutions at Sprout Social, Inc., leveraging service-oriented and event-based architectures, and developed a federated API architecture while at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Ulas began a career in academia as a graduate assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, specializing in semantic web research and teaching programming courses. Ulas holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed a double major in Computer Science and Industrial Engineering at Bahcesehir University.
