Laila Alsabti, MsEE, has a diverse and comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Most recently, they worked as a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Page Southerland Page, Inc. (starting in 2023) and as an Electrical Engineering Design Associate at Burns Engineering, Inc. (starting in 2022).

Before that, Laila held a position as a Student Research Assistant at the University of the Incarnate Word (from January 2022 to June 2022), where they developed a deeper neural network called the Yolo model for fault detection along with the Kalman filter to accurately detect faults in systems.

Earlier, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio (from June 2021 to June 2022), where they utilized deep learning technology to extract, label, and segment broken parts from medical images for endovascular surgery.

Laila also has experience outside the engineering field, having served as an Office Manager at Olive and Palm Dental Office (from June 2018 to August 2020), where they supervised administrative duties and managed office operations.

Laila'sextensive career includes roles at Orange (from September 2008 to March 2018) and Orange Telecom (from September 2008 to June 2014) as a Senior Project Engineer and Power Engineer, respectively. In these roles, they led critical projects related to establishing wireless communication services and nationwide data center expansions, and they also provided technical advisory support for sales reps, assisting in the promotion of various power and HVAC systems.

Laila Alsabti, MsEE, is a graduate student in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at San Antonio, from 2020 to 2022. Prior to this, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Baghdad, spanning from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Laila obtained a certification in "Cert Prep: Revit MEP Electrical Certified Professional" from LinkedIn in May 2022.
