Megan Nguyen has a diverse work experience beginning in 2016 as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin. Megan also worked as an Accounting Intern at the Center for Lifelong Engineering Education at the University of Texas at Austin from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they also served as a Civil Engineering Intern at Civilitude, LLC. Megan then became a Mechanical Engineer in Training at Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. from 2018 to 2021, where they also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a brief period in 2018. Megan later joined O'Connell Robertson as a Mechanical Engineer in Training from 2021 to 2022. Megan's most recent position as a Mechanical Project Engineer began in January 2023 at Page Southerland Page, Inc. Megan currently holds the role of Mechanical Engineer, PE at the same company.

Megan Nguyen pursued their higher education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering. In 2017, Megan participated in a program called Emerging Technologies in London at the same university, although they did not earn a degree from this specific program. Additionally, in 2015, they attended The University of Texas at Austin for a program focused on Computer Aided Design & Graphics, which took place in Dubai and Barcelona.

In terms of certifications, Megan obtained their Engineer in Training Certificate (FE) from NCEES in December 2018. Megan later passed the Professional Engineer (PE) Exam administered by NCEES in February 2022, and they were awarded the Professional Engineer (PE) certificate by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in March 2023. Furthermore, Megan received a K-12 Stem Outreach Certificate from the Women In Engineering Program in May 2015.
