Nichole John Romero

Nichole John Romero has a diverse work experience in the field of UI development and programming. They started their career as a Web Developer Intern at Prople BPO, Inc. in November 2017. They then worked as a Software Developer at Cloud Panda PH from April 2018 to October 2019.

In January 2020, Nichole joined Yondu, Inc. as a Mobile Support Consultant, where they investigated and fixed production issues in Sun Life PH Client Portal Mobile and Web App. They also provided daily and weekly reports. From January 2021 to February 2022, Nichole worked as a UI Developer at Yondu, Inc., deployed to Sun Life PH, where they developed enhancements for the existing Sun Life HK Client App and its Web Portal counterpart. They were also involved in the development of the Sun Life HK Staff Portal.

In February 2022, Nichole joined Sun Life as a Mobile Analyst Programmer. In this role, they were responsible for continuous improvement and enhancements to Sun Life HK-based projects. They also integrated Okta Authentication and SSO. Additionally, as an acting frontend developer lead of a small squad, Nichole coordinated with other teams for frontend-related concerns and extended their capabilities by involving themselves in backend-related activities.

Most recently, in October 2022, Nichole started working at EMAPTA as a Frontend UI Developer.

Overall, Nichole has gained experience in frontend and mobile development, troubleshooting and support, and coordination with a focus on UI development.

Nichole John Romero earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Makati, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Nichole has obtained several certifications, including "30 Days of Flutter by Flutter Philippines" and a "Certificate of Achievement for 30 Days of Flutter" from the Flutter Philippines Community in May 2021. Nichole John also completed "The Complete 2020 Flutter Development Bootcamp with Dart" course on Udemy in September 2020. Nichole has obtained various certifications related to Flutter and Dart from LinkedIn in 2020, including "Flutter: Part 05 Flutter and Dart Packages," "Flutter: Part 06 Modularizing and Organizing Flutter Code," "Flutter: Part 08 Powering Your App with Live Web Data," "Flutter: Part 01 Introduction," "Flutter: Part 02 Building Apps," "Flutter: Part 03 Flutter Widgets," and "Flutter: Part 04 Building an App with State."
