Daniel Lin

Daniel Lin's work experience includes holding the position of Head of Card Payments and Risk at Pagsmile since December 2021. In this role, they are responsible for managing card schemes payments worldwide, working with card schemes and acquirers, and overseeing the establishment and maintenance of payment risk systems.

Prior to their current role, Daniel served as Director of Business Development at Paytos Limited from March 2017 to December 2021. During this time, they achieved a volume of USD 8 million for the Amazon Project and was responsible for Visa Inc. (Asia) QSP License Application and Hong Kong Payment License Application. Daniel also collaborated with foreign banks and acquirers to develop new payment products for Chinese e-commerce merchants. Additionally, they worked as a Risk & Control Analyst at Paytos Limited from May 2016 to December 2021, where they partnered with a technical team to design merchant credit score report systems and chargeback predict systems.

Daniel gained earlier experience as a Financial Planner Intern at China Life Insurance Co.Ltd in April and May 2016. Daniel also worked as a Personal Banking Advisor at Santander UK Corporate & Commercial in September 2013, where their responsibilities included presenting international student accounts and assisting students with applications during Fresher's events.

Daniel Lin received a B.A. in HSS (Economics) from The University of Edinburgh from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their GCE A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Economics at Abbey College London from 2009 to 2011.
