Daniel Wasserlauf

Daniel Wasserlauf has a diverse range of work experience. Daniel is currently working at Paigo as the CTO and cofounder since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at MarkLogic as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining MarkLogic, Daniel worked at CommerceHub. Daniel held the position of Software Engineer II from March 2020 to February 2021, where they implemented a new API and enhanced retailer capabilities using AWS tools, Node.js, and React. Daniel also worked as a Software Engineer I from August 2018 to March 2020, developing business-to-business solutions for major brands and retailers and solving enterprise problems with serverless cloud solutions. Additionally, they had a role as a Software Development Intern from May 2017 to August 2018.

Daniel's earlier experiences include working as the Chief Engineer at WCDB Albany from December 2016 to May 2018, where they maintained equipment and administered engineering exams. Daniel also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at SUNY Polytechnic Institute from May 2016 to August 2016, working extensively in a material science laboratory and leading a research project on Germanium-Tin Nanodots.

Daniel Wasserlauf attended the University at Albany, SUNY from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Nanoscale Engineering. In October 2020, they also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
