Artist / Leader at Paint Nite

Jonathan Hartley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jonathan currently works as the Learning Experience Design Manager at StudyForge since January 2022, where they previously held the role of Learning Experience Designer from February 2020 to January 2022. Prior to their current position, Jonathan worked as a Graphic Designer Prepress at Hired Guns Creative starting in May 2021.

Before that, Jonathan worked as an Artist/Leader at Paint Nite from September 2018 to the present. At Paint Nite, they fulfilled multiple roles, including instructor, artist, cheerleader, public speaker, and entertainer, ensuring that participants enjoyed a unique social experience and left the event feeling uplifted.

Jonathan also has extensive experience as a Graphic Designer, having worked at various companies and as a personal freelance entity. Jonathan worked as a Graphic Designer at Toolbox Design from August 2000 to the present, where they handled design work. Additionally, they worked as a Graphic Designer/CSR at BC Sportswear from November 2019 to February 2020, and as a Graphic Design/CSR/Production employee at DPI Canada - Digital Print Imaging Canada from September 2019 to November 2019. Jonathan also worked as a Graphic Design Prepress specialist at Okanagan Label & Print from July 2015 to August 2019, where they gained expertise in foil, embossing, silkscreen, various types of paper, textures, spot colors, and the wine industry.

Jonathan's earlier experiences include working as a Graphic Designer/Pre-Press Person at J.Dickson Printing Ltd from January 2005 to April 2014. At J.Dickson Printing Ltd, their responsibilities included designing and preparing print materials such as direct mail pieces, calendars, signage, and newsletters. Jonathan also provided technical support for the company's hardware and software.

In addition to their design and professional experiences, Jonathan is an accomplished musician. Jonathan has worked as a Bassist since September 2000, playing various genres such as blues, roots, celtic, country, rock, and worship. Jonathan is proficient in reading chord charts, sheet music, and other musicians' fingerings and has experience setting up, tearing down, and operating audio equipment for shows, productions, and recording sessions.

Furthermore, Jonathan was a member of the worship team at Freeway FMC from 2000 to 2009.

Jonathan Hartley attended Kawartha Lakes Bible College from 1994 to 1995. Jonathan then went on to Sir Sandford Fleming College, where they earned an Audio/Video/Graphic Communications Diploma from 1995 to 1997.
