Edgar Becerra

Edgar Becerra has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Edgar is currently the Director of Business Development at Paired Power since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. from 2016 to 2023, starting as a Senior Technical Solutions Manager and later becoming the Sustainability Leader, Americas Region. At Mitsubishi Electric, they focused on net-zero emissions strategies and implemented sustainable business practices. Before that, Edgar was the Region Manager at Pegasus Solar from 2015 to 2016. Edgar also founded Distributed Energy Technologies, Inc. in 2010 and worked there as Founder until 2015. Other notable positions they held include Sales Engineer at QBotix from 2013 to 2015, Account Manager at Array Converter from 2011 to 2012, and various roles at Sharp Electronics from 2005 to 2011, including Senior Sales Engineering Manager and Manager of Applications Engineering. Edgar's career began in 2001 as a Project Planner at MC Solar Engineering.

Edgar Becerra holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from California State University-Long Beach - College of Business, which they obtained between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 1994 to 1998. In addition, Edgar has obtained certifications in Internal Auditor (ISO14001) from the Bureau Veritas Group and Sustainability Strategies from LinkedIn, in the years 2022 and 2021 respectively.
