Deputy Manager Treasury at Pakistan National Shipping Corp

Rehan Ahmed began their work experience in January 2008 at Jawaid Bross Label Industries (Pvt) Limited, where they worked as a Senior Accounts Executive. Their responsibilities included maintaining and reporting on liabilities and customer aging, preparing bank flow statements and reconciled bank statements, auditing petty cash and store bills, summarizing monthly sales and purchase registers, e-filing sales tax returns, preparing monthly income statements and balance sheets, preparing monthly expenditure reports and finance budgets, and reporting on variations in expenditures. Rehan worked at Jawaid Bross Label Industries until October 2010.

From November 2010 to February 2012, Rehan worked as a Senior Accounts Executive at MIMA Knit (PVT) Limited. In this role, they supervised the reconciliation of corporate bank accounts and prepayments and accrued expenses ledgers, supervised purchase and sales ledger accounts, petty cash, expenses, invoicing, and postings (general journal entries), and finalized all closing and adjusting matters.

In February 2021, Rehan was promoted to Deputy Manager Treasury at PNSC.

Rehan Ahmed has a diverse education history in the field of accounting and management. Rehan first pursued a degree in Management Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan, where they obtained the ACMA qualification. Following this, they enrolled at the Institute of Cost and Management Pakistan from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a certification as a Certified Management Accountant with a focus on Accounting and Management.

In 2009 to 2010, Rehan Ahmed attended the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants and received a degree as an Associate Public Accountant, specializing in both Accounting and Business/Management. Additionally, they pursued a Master's in Economics from Karachi University from 2008 to 2011.
