Matt Bigge is an entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of successful general management and multi-stage venture investing experience. Mr. Bigge carries a strong track record of investing in leading-edge technology companies including CloudShield (SAIC), Narus (Boeing), and ArcSight (HP). He was also an early investor and Chairman of the Board of MeshNetworks (Motorola). For the past 6 years Mr. Bigge has focused on information operations integrating technology, security, and social science. His deep understanding of the unique threats to critical infrastructure has led to a string of successes in both the cyber and physical domains.
Currently, Mr. Bigge is a Venture Partner with Paladin Capital. He is focused on investments in IT Security and currently sits on the boards of ProtectWise and Verodin while also working with ThreatStream and BugCrowd. Most recently, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of Strategic Social Holdings (acquired by Constellis Group). At Strategic Social, Mr. Bigge focused on building a world-class company providing Local Insight with Global Perspective for select public and private sector customers in emerging and frontier markets. He is a frequent lecturer in the areas of information operations related to critical infrastructure protection. He has lectured in the US to state, local, and federal law enforcement. Internationally, Mr. Bigge’s lectures have addressed defense and law enforcement leaders on several continents ranging from Europe and Africa to the Middle East and Central Asia.
Prior to his business career, Mr. Bigge served in the U.S. Army with a distinguished record as an Infantry officer and Ranger in the 10th Mountain Division. Mr. Bigge has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSFS in International Politics from Georgetown University where he was also a Distinguished Military Graduate.
