Nancy Tavares

Nancy Tavares has a diverse and extensive work experience in Human Resources and Learning & Development. Nancy has held roles such as Senior Director, Director, and Manager in companies like Paladin Security Group Ltd, The Printing House, and Timbercreek. Nancy has also worked as an instructor at George Brown College Continuing Education. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in building HR strategies, overseeing learning and talent development functions, managing training programs, and engaging in union-management relationships.

Nancy Tavares holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from York University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from York University, and a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Guelph. Nancy also completed The Osgoode Certificate in Human Resources Law for HR Professionals at York University - Osgoode Hall Law School. In addition, they have a Certificate in French Language from George Brown College Continuing Education and completed the Post Secondary Professional Training Program in Dance at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. Nancy has obtained various certifications including Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) from HRPA, Everything DiSC Workplace® Certification, and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) from HRPA.
