Alex Asadi

Alex Asadi is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in product design and development, primarily in the automotive and heavy machinery sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Palfinger since May 2014, Alex leads the research and development division focusing on folding liftgates, successfully designing two new models in 2021 and 2022. Previously, Alex held roles as Project Leader at Caterpillar Inc., where contributions included the design of hydraulic excavator components and the launch of new pilot models in collaboration with international teams. Experience as a Project Engineer at Jernberg Industries involved designing automotive components and ensuring quality standards, while earlier work as a Design Engineer at Caterpillar included analyzing machine components for large wheel loaders. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering from Northern Illinois University, along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology and Sharif University of Technology, respectively.
