Brad Thacker

Brad T. has over 25 years of experience in various technical writing and content engineering roles. Brad is currently working as a Senior Content Engineer at Paligo since November 2021.

Prior to this, Brad worked at LexisNexis for over 12 years as a Senior Content Engineer. Brad'sresponsibilities included developing Relax NG schemas for NewLexis Statute documents and creating XSL stylesheets for the conversion process.

Before joining LexisNexis, Brad worked as a Senior XML Specialist at TechPubs Inc. for a year. Brad also gained experience as a volunteer radio interviewer at KGNU Denver/Boulder and as an XML Developer at Flatirons Solutions.

Brad's earlier experience includes working as an XML Specialist at Jeppesen, a Senior Technical Writer at Oracle, and a Senior Technical Writer at J. D. Edwards. Brad taught himself XML and developed an XML system for installation writers during their time at J. D. Edwards.

Brad began their career as a Technical Writer at Lucent Technologies and later worked as a Technical Writer/Lotus Notes Developer at Intelligo.

Brad T. earned their first Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 1979 to 1982. Brad later pursued further education and obtained a second M.S. degree in Technical Communication from the University of Colorado Denver. This degree was completed between 1991 and 1994.
