Martin Band has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Martin started their career as the Managing Director of Causeway Technologies, where they successfully increased revenue for the leading eInvoicing hub in UK Construction and Local Government. Martin then went on to become the CEO of UKprocure Limited, where they connected major buyers to their suppliers through catalogues, electronic orders, and eInvoices.

In 2010, Martin founded Thanksx.net, a social enterprise that they managed as the Founder and Managing Director. Martin later joined Big Band Limited as an Interim Head of Product at MakePositive, building a hybrid software products division. Martin also served as a Principal Consultant at Big Band Limited, specializing in SaaS product strategy, roadmap development, and product delivery performance improvement.

From 2016 to 2018, Martin worked as the Chief Technology Officer at CURO, where they re-architected the product and implemented Agile methodologies, eliminating testing backlog and installing best-practice Product Management. Martin then joined Big Band Ltd again, taking on roles such as Product Management Transformation at ArisGlobal and Interim VP Product at Sprout.ai, where they developed product strategies and collaborated with the executive team.

Martin's most recent position was at onefourzero, where they acted as the Chief Product and Technology Officer, leading the product and technology teams during the company's acquisition negotiations. Martin also worked with Palladium Digital as part of the onefourzero integration and joint Product Strategy.

Throughout their career, Martin has been highly experienced in Agile Product Management, SaaS Engineering management, and product strategy development. Martin has a strong track record of driving performance improvement and successfully leading teams in delivering innovative products.

Martin Band completed their BSc (Eng) in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University between 1977 and 1981. Later in 1987, they attended INSEAD, where they obtained an MBA degree in Business Studies.
