Zachary Leonard

Zachary Leonard serves as the Chief Executive of The Independent, Independent Digital News & Media Ltd. since September 2010, showcasing extensive leadership experience in digital media. In addition to this role, Zachary holds the position of Board Trustee at Pallant House Gallery and is actively involved in the Communications and Collections & Exhibitions Committees. Past roles include Managing Director, Digital at ESI Media, where oversight of digital strategy and commercial operations was paramount, and various key positions at News International, including Managing Director of Milkround. Prior to these roles, Zachary held senior positions at The Financial Times and Fidelity Investments, among others, demonstrating a robust background in digital publishing and media strategy. Academic credentials include a BA from Harvard University and a Master of Arts in History of Art from the University of Buckingham.
