Tibor Fazekas is a highly skilled electrical systems engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear power sector. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Systems Engineer at PALLAS since July 2023, responsibilities include reviewing detailed designs of electrical systems for the Pallas reactor. Previously, Tibor held several positions at Paks II. Nuclear Power Plant Ltd., including Electrical Installation and Cabling Group Leader and Senior Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed managing electrical installation activities, overseeing environmental qualification of equipment, and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts to ensure reliability in power generation. Early career experience includes a role as a Demonstrator Student at the High Voltage Laboratory of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, participating in R&D projects and conducting laboratory sessions. Tibor's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a continuing education program in reactor technology from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, complemented by training at the World Nuclear University.

Foundation Preparation Pallas-reactor (PALLAS) is responsible for obtaining a licensable design, obtaining private investors, and constructing and operating the PALLAS-reactor. The new reactor will be one of the most leading reactors in the world: PALLAS will help tens of thousands patients every day by providing medical isotopes. These are the radioactive particles in nuclear medicine that are crucial elements in order to diagnose or treat illnesses such as heart and vascular disease and cancer. PALLAS will also be an important player in (medical) nuclear technological research.
