Lia Azul Salaverry

Lia Azul Salaverry's work experience includes serving as a Senior Manager, Advisory Services at Pallet since 2022. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at the City of Oakland, initially as a Policy Analyst & Community Liaison and later as a District Director & Policy Advisor. In 2018, they were a Campaign Manager for Malia Cohen for Board of Equalization, where they managed various aspects of a statewide political campaign. In 2017, they served as a Special Assistant to the President/Operations Coordinator at Akonadi Foundation and as a Transportation Justice Policy Fellow for Lateefah Simon for BART Board Director. In 2015, they worked as a Special Projects Associate at Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc. and as a Congressional Intern for Jared Huffman in the US Congress. In 2014, they were a Research Intern for the Economic Hardship Reporting Project at the Institute for Policy Studies.
