Stephen Texon

Stephen Texon is an accomplished cantor and baritone with extensive experience in the field of music and religious services. Currently serving as a cantor at Temple Emeth in Delray Beach, Florida since June 2012, Stephen is responsible for cantorial singing and the musical content of services, with occasional Torah, Haftorah, and Megillah readings. Stephen's background includes membership with Palm Beach Opera and a longstanding affiliation with the Cantors Assembly, where contributions included service on the Executive Council and performances at annual convention concerts. Previous positions as a cantor were held at several congregations, including the Cuban Hebrew Congregation and Temple Beth Israel, demonstrating a diverse and enriching career in both religious and operatic settings. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Music from New York University, complemented by early musical training at Ramaz School.
