Omar Amin

Omar Amin is an accomplished legal and business executive currently serving as President & General Counsel at Palmetto since October 2020, where responsibilities also include Chief Development Officer. Prior to this, Omar held the position of Vice President at Churchill Downs Incorporated from January 2019 to October 2020, and served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Big Fish Games from January 2016 to September 2018. Omar’s extensive experience at Churchill Downs Incorporated from 2009 to 2016 included roles as Vice President of Business Integration, Vice President of Corporate Operations, and Associate General Counsel. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Director of Legal Affairs at TrackNet Media Group, LLC, and as an Associate at Frost Brown Todd. Omar holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
