Oren Ofer

Oren Ofer is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in security research and threat detection across various organizations. Currently serving as a Manager of Security Research at Palo Alto Networks since May 2025, Oren previously held positions at Wiz as a Senior Security Threat Researcher, where responsibilities included designing effective security content for the Wiz Runtime Sensor, and at Cybereason as a Principal Security Researcher, contributing to the development of EDR and EPP products. Oren has also held critical roles at Cisco as a Red Team Technical Leader and at Ernst & Young leading offensive security teams. The educational background includes studies at The Open University and the College of Management.
