Andrea Barker

Andrea Barker, LCSW, currently serves as the Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator for the Palo Alto Unified School District since April 2024. With an extensive background in social work, Andrea has held various roles at the University of Cincinnati from June 2000 to January 2025, including Course Developer, Adjunct Instructor, Senior Training Specialist, and Program Manager. Prior experience includes serving as an Oncology Social Worker at UCSF-Washington Cancer Center from November 2019 to April 2024, and as a Social Work Clinician at Stanford Children's Health from January 2019 to November 2019. Additionally, Andrea worked as a Medical Social Worker in Otolaryngology at UC Health from June 2010 to November 2015 and began the career as an Ongoing Caseworker at Hamilton County Job and Family Services from July 1998 to June 2000. Andrea Barker holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Wright State University.
