Janine Penney

Janine Penney is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in assessment and data management. Currently serving as the Manager of Data and Assessment at Palo Alto Unified School District since July 2013, Janine Penney previously held a role as Teacher on Special Assignment at Franklin McKinley School District from December 1999 to June 2013, where responsibilities included coordinating district and state assessments across multiple K-8 schools and middle schools. Janine Penney also has experience as a 4th-grade classroom teacher. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, both obtained from San Jose State University.
