Michael Yancey has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael started their career as a Maintenance Supervisor at Corvias in 2008 before transitioning to an Operations Engineer role at Hertz in 2010. Following this, they worked as an HVAC Engineer and later as a Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer at Gateway Church, where they managed facility maintenance and environmental services. In 2017, Michael joined Waggoner's Heating, Air Conditioning, and Plumbing as a Service Manager and Service Tech, leading a team of HVAC technicians and overseeing equipment repairs and installations. Michael then became the Assistant Director of Facilities at COCM from 2018 to 2020, managing systems and a team of maintenance technicians across four campus buildings. Most recently, Michael worked as an Assistant Project Manager at AKG-SWFS, where they directed technicians and multi-trade craftsmen at a government facility. Currently, they serve as the Director of Plant Operations/EVS at PAM Health.
Michael Yancey has an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Emergency Management from Oklahoma State University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Michael also has a degree in Religion from Baptist Bible College, where they studied from 1978 to 1980. In 1980 to 1984, they attended Heritage Baptist University for Biblical Studies. In addition to their education, Michael Yancey has obtained several certifications, including "Project Management Foundations", "Negotiating Your Compensation Package", and "Managing Up as an Employee" from LinkedIn.
