Stiel Ocampo

Stiel Ocampo is currently a Graduate Student in Teacher Education at California State University, Bakersfield, with expected completion in May 2025. Stiel has extensive experience in education as a Substitute Teacher across multiple districts, including Panama-Buena Vista Union School District, Rosedale Union School District, Norris School District, and Standard School District since October 2023, as well as at Isla Vista Elementary from September 2021 to September 2023. Previous roles include tutoring, serving as a Teacher Assistant and Supervisor, and working as a Guest & Service Advocate at Target from November 2019 to 2023. Stiel's early involvement in education includes volunteer work at Isla Vista Elementary and leadership as a conference leader for the UCSB Southeast Asian Union Youth Conference, focusing on mentoring Southeast Asian high school students. Stiel earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology and Applied Psychology from UC Santa Barbara in 2021.
