Premkumar Bangole

Premkumar Bangole has extensive experience in the technology industry, starting their career at Wipro Technologies as a Software Engineer. Premkumar then worked at Tektronix Engineering Development India, where they contributed to the development of MP Series Codec and participated in MPEG over Ethernet standards subcommittee. Premkumar later joined Ericsson spin-off Metrooptix as a Systems Engineer/ System Architect, where they played a key role in designing the network management framework and development of Optical Multiservice Platform.

Afterwards, they worked at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer, where they worked on various product lines and was responsible for building platforms for control plane on optical products. Premkumar also developed a Presence Engine and integrated it with Microsoft Exchange Server. Following that, they co-founded Jarawa Business Solutions, a company focused on introducing new technology in the National Health System in the UK.

Shortly after, they joined Intel Corporation as a Software Architect before moving to Aricent as a Principal Systems Engineer/Senior Engineering Manager. At Aricent, they managed onsite and offshore teams working on ABS airborne solution architecture and achieved 99.7% availability on non-redundant platform. Premkumar also led the development of L2 Ethernet switch and drove product diversification.

Premkumar then joined Gogo, where they held multiple positions, including General Manager/Head of Engineering and Director of Advanced Technologies/Head of New Products. During their time at Gogo, they built a subsidiary in India, implemented cost-saving strategies, automated operations, established an R&D team, and initiated new product initiatives.

After Gogo, they worked at Intelsat as the Head of Software Development, where they led the software development team and played a crucial role in the development of new software solutions.

Currently, Premkumar serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, where they oversee the engineering department.

Premkumar Bangole holds an impressive education history. Premkumar began their studies in 1985 at St. Johns Matriculation Higher Secondary School, where they obtained their High School Diploma equivalent. During this time, they focused on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

In 1992, Premkumar enrolled at the University of Madras, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. This program provided him with a strong foundation in the field.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, they attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2000 to 2004. Here, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science. This advanced degree further enhanced their expertise in the field.

In 2014, Premkumar attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they studied Executive Management. After two years of dedicated learning, they successfully acquired their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, further broadening their skill set in the business domain.
