As a consultant at Abeam Consulting, Kato built the Production module and control for a food company, chemistry and cosmetics, and chemistry. Tatsuya was trained to be a professional IE for the first half of the year and learned the new production system named 1/N and full automation line. Kato worked as the only IE to examine all the processes of the factory as a Project leader of all the process. Tatsuya achieved a 5% increase of the productivity of entire factory, improved one bottle to 12.5% (24Hr -> 21Hr/day) make a room to do the preventive maintenance. Kato analyzed the data on the floor with kaizen and standardized SOPs and video work instructions. Tatsuya also created the layout proposal to all the stake holders. OEE was 85%.
