Jonathan Kort

Jonathan Kort has extensive work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Jonathan is currently serving as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at PanAust since August 2022. Previously, they worked as the Vice President - Assurance and Risk at Coronado Global Resources Inc. from November 2019 to August 2022. Jonathan also served as an Alternate Director at Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal Pty Ltd from October 2020 to July 2022.

Prior to these roles, Jonathan worked at EY, where they held the position of Director, Forensic and Integrity Services from November 2017 to November 2019. Jonathan also gained experience as the Financial Controller at Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal Pty Ltd from March 2017 to October 2017.

Jonathan's earlier experience includes working as the CFO and Company Secretary at Integrated Global Partners from June 2015 to December 2016. Jonathan also held key roles at BHP, including General Manager, General Manager Finance, Commercial Manager, Financial Controller, Audit Manager, and Senior Internal Auditor from 2006 to 2015.

Additionally, Jonathan started their career as an Accountant at EY from April 2004 to March 2006.

Jonathan Kort's education history includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Western Australia, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. The degree covered subjects such as Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Business Law. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Jonathan attended Hale School from 1997 to 1998. After completing their bachelor's degree, Jonathan pursued higher education at Curtin University, where they earned a Masters in Science in Mineral Economics from 2012 to 2014. Before entering Curtin University, they also obtained a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2012.
