Ihsaan Patel

Ihsaan Patel's work experience includes founding and serving as the CEO of Pandan, an AI company. Ihsaan also worked as the Director of Machine Learning at AKASA from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Oncora Medical from 2019 to 2020, and a Lead Member of Technical Staff - Data Science at athenahealth from 2018 to 2019. Ihsaan gained experience as a Civic Technology Fellow at Microsoft in 2017, where they developed software and analyzed data for non-profits and governments. Before that, they worked as a Planning and Commercial Finance Leader at Greenlight Planet and as an Associate Consultant at Parsons Brinckerhoff. In these roles, they led the development of financial plans, built models, and facilitated the creation of capital plans for various projects. Ihsaan began their career as a Financial Analyst at Citi, where they managed complex financial models and developed models for estimating the impact of foreign exchange movements. Ihsaan also interned at Metis Strategy and the South African Institute of International Affairs.

Ihsaan Patel completed a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from Harvard Kennedy School between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) from Georgetown University from 2008 to 2012, with a focus on International Economics.
