Pandemic Response Lab (PRL) provides high-volume, low-cost COVID-19 testing, variant detection, sequencing, pooling, population testing, and PCR-based respiratory panels to communities across the U.S. 

PRL is led by a team of experts in genetics, clinical diagnostics, and robotics. Our state-of-the-art labs use knowledge and technology licensed from NYU Langone based on research led by world-class geneticist Dr. Jef Boeke. PRL is a subsidiary of Opentrons Labworks Inc., a leading diagnostic life sciences company based in NY. Since its founding in early 2020, PRL has opened 3 locations in Long Island City, NY; Rockville, MD; and Irvine, CA, with plans for expansion in the near future.

PRL is leveraging innovation in science and robotics to address a provider, payer and patient care system challenged for years in lowering costs and providing optimal patient care.
