Marc Frey has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple years. Marc currently serves as the Managing Director at PANGIAM since April 2022. Prior to that, from 2014 to July 2022, they worked as the Executive Director at Bancroft Global Development, where they provided leadership and strategic direction for a security assistance and stability non-profit organization.

Before that, Marc held the position of Senior Director at Steptoe & Johnson, LLP from April 2010 to September 2018. Marc provided strategic analysis and expert advice to both U.S. and international clients on matters involving business and security.

Additionally, Marc has also worked at the US Department of Homeland Security, where they held various roles. These include serving as the Chief of Staff for the Office of Policy Development, Director for the Visa Waiver Program, and Senior Advisor for the Office of Security between 2003 and 2010. In these roles, they participated in the development and coordination of policies and programs related to cybersecurity, aviation and border security, and international law enforcement cooperation.

Lastly, in 2002, Marc worked as an Analyst at the Strategic Assessment Center.

Marc Frey completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science at Duke University from 1990 to 1994. Marc then pursued a Ph.D in History at Temple University, which they obtained from 1995 to 2002.
