Perla de la Torre

Perla De La Torre is an active student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Community Health, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as an IPLAN intern at Champaign-Urbana Public Health District and the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Panhellenic Council, Perla has demonstrated leadership through various roles, including Illinois Student Admissions Representative and active member of multiple organizations such as the University of Illinois Student Alumni Ambassadors and Chi Omega's Omicron Chapter, where Perla established the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion position. Perla has gained practical experience through internships with the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce and LaSalle County Health Department, as well as significant involvement in health promotion and member education initiatives.
