Andrew Mathews

Andrew Mathews has over 10 years of work experience. In 2005, they began their career as a Marketing Department Intern at Thompson Rivers University, followed by a Quality Control Specialist role at Mercedes-Benz Canada. In 2011, they worked as a Health and Safety Consultant at Engage Management. In 2012, they were a Project Integration & People Continuous Improvement Specialist at IAMGOLD Corporation. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Behaviour and Development Coach at Inspiring Island Youth. From 2015 to 2016, they were an HR Project Development Consultant at Equilibria Services. From 2016 to 2018, they were an HR Business Partner in Western Canada at CGI. From 2018 to 2022, they were an Advisor for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Employee Experience and an HR Advisor at BCI. Andrew currently holds the role of Head of Human Resources at Pani Energy.

Andrew Mathews has a comprehensive educational background. Andrew obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Cross University from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Post Graduate Management Diploma from Thompson Rivers University in 2009, with a field of study in Leadership & Organizational Development. Andrew also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thompson Rivers University from 2004 to 2009, with a field of study in Marketing. Additionally, they completed a Six Month Academic Exchange at The University of Salford in 2008, with a field of study in Economics. Mathews also has various certifications, including a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute obtained in July 2020, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from the Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) obtained in February 2020, a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance obtained in March 2019, a Certified ROI Professional from the ROI Institute Canada obtained in February 2013, and a Certified Training Manager from Langevin Learning Services obtained in November 2012.
